Celebrating the arts

On Wednesday, May 30, 2012, Mrs. Angle, our cms Art Teacher, will be having a variety of art that the students made. There will be a variety such as sculptures, paintings, and many, many more. The art will be located in the gymnasium at 6pm. So I encourage everyone to come visit and see the many talents that CMS has brought to Mrs. Angle class. 

adjucation/ kennywood

On Friday, May 18, 2012 the CMS chorus students will be going to Carnegie Mellon and Kennywood for their adjudication. Good luck CMS chorus!

Band Concert

On May 3, 2012, Mr. Rush and the seventh and eighth grade band students will be having their band concert. Good luck to all who are participating in the concert.

CMS Eighth Graders

The eighth graders in CMS will be taking the writing pssa's. It will be a three day testing. It will be during homeroom on all three days. The following week the eighth graders will be taking the science pssa's. This will only be two days but at least you get a one-day break in between them. Good Luck Eighth graders.

The Musical on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 was great. Great job for all the students and teachers who put in the effort for this musical. Also hope everyone got a lot of rest on your 5-day spring break.

Today we will be having the play "guys and dolls" premiering in the cms auditorium. Good luck to all those actors and actresses that are performing.

The Supreme Court and Healthcare

the supreme court is ruling on whether everyone should have health care. This decision could affect the Unites states, in several ways. Not only will it higher taxes, but it will upset some citizens.
Not everyone wants to pay for health care, so to some this might be upsetting. On the other hand, it helps people who cant afford to get check ups and go to their doctors. Hopefully, the decision will be for the best.
